Italian IOT Summit | 17/05/2017 @Microsoft House – Milan
Working together” is important and essential in this world that is increasingly looking to the future. We need to pool our experiences, passions, disciplines and knowledge in order to aim high and achieve important goals.
On Wednesday, 17 May, we presented our Audit Manager solution at the Italian IOT Summit, organised by Microsoft and AIMCP. Thanks to our collaboration with the Azimut|Benetti Group and Orchestra Web, our solution has entered the magnificent world of yachting and has gone on to become an IoT Case History.
“For us at Focus, multidisciplinarity means focusing on the need for innovation and doing everything we can to assist with the ongoing search for new solutions. All processes must be organised and everyone’s skills must be shared in order to grow together,” says Danilo Longoni, founder and CEO of Focus Informatica.
Collaboration and Integration
Guido Colombo, President of Orchestra, presents his hardware connected to Audit Manager software: “The Azimut|Benetti Group project has led to the construction of a sensor for measuring the alignment of moving surfaces, using automatic calibration thanks to a triaxial accelerometer with 100Hz signal sampling. All this can be used on mobile devices thanks to a serial-USB connection and integration with the Focus Informatica Audit Manager app.”
The client’s need
Gianluca Santevecchi, IT Manager at Azimut Yachts, explains: “We needed to create cutting-edge, top-quality products. This need is what led to our collaboration. With its Audit Manager solution, Focus Informatica was able to meet all our requirements, both primary and secondary. Audit Manager is the tool that Azimut can never stop using”.
“The continuous acquisition of information from production and the field, as regards both products and processes, plays an important role in Quality Assurance. The integration of apps, sensors and analysis systems is an opportunity to be seized in order to grow and provide tangible value to customers,” adds Danilo Longoni.
